M.E./C.F.S. Training for Healthcare

This Healthcare Professional’s Online CPD Accredited Course teaches learners that M.E./C.F.S. is much more than simply a health condition.

Upon completion of this three module course, learners will know why M.E./C.F.S. is a global health crisis, how patients are diagnosed with the condition, and know the challenges M.E./C.F.S. presents within a healthcare environment and be able to identify possible solutions.

The majority of medical professionals receive ZERO training on M.E./C.F.S. in medical school. Any information they go on to learn from NHS sources (or equivalent) is not fit for purpose.

This means that, as they are often a point of contact for health advice, any information that is cascaded down to employers or teachers is inadequate and potentially harmful to patients.

Many GPs and other healthcare professionals refuse to accept that M.E./C.F.S. is a real illness. Despite it being recognised by the World Health Organisation as a neurological condition decades ago. This needs to change.
